The game seems to have aged pretty well in term of playablity, though the graphics are what you'd expect from a game thats over 5 years old now. Like other players I'm having some issue with lag- it seems a pitty that the developer has seen fit to re-release the game, but not optimise it for modern machines.Luckily, for me the lag issue hasn't made the game completely unplayable, and I'm happy enough to revisit a game I used to spend far too many hours on.. Love this game. I first played it in 1998 when it was released in its original language German! Was a great game and I didnt understand how to play it. I cheated my way through the missions since I was quite young to understand the full entire concept of managing airlines and profiting from routes. Over time I would get back at playing this game and everytime I learned something new. Finally I was able to understand the complexity of the game with full confidence and understand every single aspect. If you want to really challenge yourself, I am telling you as an experienced player. This is one of the best airline management games I have ever played in my life. I know there are bad reviews but its because this game isnt for someone who has no patience.I wish they didnt fail in AT2, however AT deluxe is a game that compliments AT2 in soo many ways.Note: This game is meant to be starting for young adults however best you play this in your mid 20s. By then you should understand how to manage flights, your routes, maintain your plains, transport people and cargo, understanding how to buy, sell, issue stocks, buy planes, even sabotage and soo much more.IMPORTANT: Not a game children or teenagers at all. Too complex and little life experience to understand how to play this game. Spent 2 million to erase 1 million from opponent's bank account10/10 would play again. One of the best games i have played. Started playing the game back in 1999 with the original AT.Still in love with this game 2017.To bad AT 2 was a blow, was really looking forward to it. Well maybe AT 3 will be once produced and be somewhat similar to the original game.. A real classic Tycoon game with a suprinsing deep economic system and fun gameplay. Everything a Tycoon should be. First this game is 20 year old!older than most people who use steam!The graphics are dated but still good as its a ton better than some of the crap thats out nowSound is repetative but non distractingGameplay is ok, the instructions are a little crappy but hey, we didnt have walkthroughs back in those daysAll in all a decentish game, just a bit boring, couldnt play it for longer than an hour. No feel of depth or sense of urgency. The graphics are worse that the games I played on Win 95.
