Like I've said in a lot of my previous reviews for similar games: Get it, if you like tons of achievement; don't, if you don't.To the dev: Given that it's not necessary to go past the title screen, you honestly don't really have to make a game. If you do go that route at some point, maybe you could put some awesome music to listen to during the grind instead. Talking about some 30 - 60min music mix that's fun to have running in the background. And then just make a monster run. People can opt to fight, starting with low-tier creeps that get harder with each round. Occasionally they get some healing items or a save point, if you feel generous. That way people can post to which round they made it. Would be neat.. There is no game underneath the achievements. These achievement games are complete trash.. Multiple map areas, Turn Based Combat, a Boss fight, and some Comedy with 5000 easy obtainable achievements. To me the game wasnt so bad.. Just idle for achievements. Obviously, this game (using the term 'game' loosely here) is entirely for the 5000 achievements. These achievements are earned by doing whatever you wish. as long as you're running the game, and takes about 2 hours to achieve them all. As the name suggests, you can literally load the game and do nothing, and the achievements flow. There is about 5 minutes of gameplay, searching around the map and speaking to the few individuals that repeat their own individual dad joke. There's a boss fight, but there's no extra achievements for defeating that boss.If you are searching for a game with amazing graphics, great story-telling, and a soundtrack that brings eargasms.. this isn't it; what did you expect when a game names itself Achievement Lurker? It does exactly as it says on the tin, and that's why I recommend the game: it doesn't hide exactly what it is, and if you did buy this game hoping for gameplay.. well.. you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you?. I bought this game for about a dollar.. It gave me 5000 achievements.. Ultimately when one looks at a game like this, you need to judge whether or not you want to be that guy... This game isn't really a game at all, it's a way of adding 5000 achievements to your profile..Look at me I have over 120k achievements on steam.. Sounds impressive.. it's not because achievements on steam are meaningless.. With games like this gunking up the works, achievements on steam are like finding a penny on the street..Sure it's nice, but ultimately pretty worthless.. Maybe it would have a point on one of the consoles, like Xbone or PS4 where achievements hold some merit, people hunt achievements, and especially in the case of the Xbone, you have guys that devote their lives to getting the highest score possible.. On steam a person with S.A.M can unlock a milliion achievements in a few minutes..So is this game worth the 1.99 price tag.. I suppose if you want 5000 corny achievements (could atleast make the pictures different so we could potentially find a cool one for our profile) It'l take 2.1 hours to unlock them all... .1 hour longer than the refund timer.The actual game consist of one semi large area, with a few tents, some corny jokes, and about 3 total enemies and 1 boss enemy.. The actual content takes about 3 minutes to finish, not even enough time to write a review.. although if you bought this game, you'll likely stick around for the other 2 hours to get the achievements..I'd never recommend this game as a game, to put it frank this isn't a game, it's a cheap ploy to sell people achievements.. They could at the very least add some cards to these cashgrab games, especially because idlers will stay in game for over 2 hours..If you like meaningless achievements.. or owning games which will likely get removed from steam at some point,, then by all means buy away.. For everyone else, save your 1.99 and buy something that required actual work... You get what you paid for, 5K achievements at minimum price. If you\u2019re an achievement hunter looking to increase the number of achievements on your profile showcase, then I highly recommend buying this. Else don\u2019t waste your money.
